Levi and Maureen report from the Calgary Pet Expo at the
end of March:
We belong to a club called the Southern Alberta Herding/Working Dogs Association ran out of Cowley/Pincher Creek, AB area,
and we had committed to doing some performances at the Pet Expo. The group was doing Square dancing, Freestyle dancing, K-9 Barrel racing,
Carting Olympics as well as drills where we had up to 8 members and their dogs performing rally moves together as a team.
Levi and I participated in the K-9 Barrel racing, drills and sort of in the carting demonstrations... I say
'sort of' for the carting
as Levi's job was to ride in the back of the cart and look pretty while the Belgian Sheep Dog, Bo did all the work!!
Here is a picture of Levi in the back of the cart...

Meanwhile, Booker (above) - WillowGlyn Blue Book, was in Camrose
at the BRCA shows in March.
Saturday, he took a lovely BW and BOB win for 5 points and
then went on to win Best Puppy in Group.
Sunday he was WD for another 3 points and Monday was RWD.
Booker is sired by CH Cynchar Black Licorice out of CH WillowGlyn Exotica.
At the AKC shows in February in Calgary,
Rosie, WillowGlyn Black
Rose (left) and Kirby, CH Heartstrings Kiss And Tell
(right),
both earned their CGN title (Canine Good Neighbour). Congratulations
Susanne and Leona!!!
